About
Rally Augusta
Rally Augusta is the Greater Augusta Long-Term Recovery Group, or GALTRG.
We are a collaborative regional recovery organization serving Richmond, Columbia, and McDuffie counties. We bring together organizations and individuals to address long-term disaster recovery needs, mobilize resources, strengthen partnerships, and help Greater Augusta become more resilient.

Why We Exist
Hurricane Helene revealed both the vulnerability and extraordinary strength of our community. Families lost roofs, rooms, possessions, stability, and in some cases entire homes. At the same time, neighbors helped neighbors. Churches mobilized. Nonprofits responded. Volunteers arrived. Foundations invested. Businesses contributed. Local leaders collaborated. National disaster organizations brought expertise and skilled hands. Rally Augusta grew from the recognition that this work is stronger when it is coordinated. What they need are materials. Rally Augusta is working to raise $1.5 million for construction materials to help repair or rebuild 115 local homes. These funds can put roofing, lumber, drywall, flooring, plumbing supplies, and other essential materials into the hands of skilled volunteers ready to work.
Our Mission
The Greater Augusta Long-Term Recovery Group unites organizations and individuals to restore, strengthen, and serve our community with integrity, collaboration, and compassion in times of disaster and recovery.

Our Fiscal Partnership
The Greater Augusta Long-Term Recovery Group is not a standalone 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The Community Foundation for the CSRA serves as our fiscal agent, providing an established charitable structure through which contributions can support Rally Augusta's recovery work.
Why Rally?
Because recovery is not something one organization can accomplish alone.
It takes homeowners, volunteers, donors, businesses, churches, nonprofits, government agencies, foundations, and community leaders working toward the same goal. When disaster strikes, communities need more than help.
They need people willing to rally.
