Assistance

More than two years after Hurricane Helene, homeowners across Richmond, Columbia, and McDuffie counties continue to need assistance.

Rally Augusta works with disaster recovery partners to help connect qualified homeowners with available recovery resources

Current Assistance Availability

Home repair assistance is dependent upon available funding, volunteer capacity, construction resources, household eligibility, and the nature of the unmet need.

Submitting a request does not guarantee assistance or establish a timeline for repairs.

When applications are being accepted, priority is generally given to homeowners with substantial unmet needs who are uninsured or underinsured and do not have the financial resources to complete their recovery without assistance.

Current Application Status

APPLICATIONS CURRENTLY OPEN

Eligible homeowners in Richmond, Columbia, or McDuffie County may submit the Augusta Hurricane Assistance Request through our disaster recovery partner.

REQUEST ASSISTANCE

Who May Qualify

Assistance is focused primarily on owner-occupied homes damaged by Hurricane Helene where the homeowner has significant unmet needs after insurance, FEMA assistance, and other available resources have been considered.

What Happens After a Request Is Submitted

Submitting an application is the beginning of a review process.

A disaster recovery representative may contact the homeowner to gather additional
information, verify damage, review available assistance, and better understand the
household's unmet needs.

Cases may then be connected with available recovery resources as funding, materials,
volunteer teams, and partner capacity permit.

Review Begins

Your application starts a review of the request.

Verify Needs

A representative may call to confirm damage and unmet needs.

Match Help

Cases are connected to funding, materials, and volunteers as capacity allows.

Already Submitted a Request?

Please do not submit duplicate applications unless instructed to do so.

Recovery takes time, and available resources remain limited. Our partners continue working through existing cases as quickly and responsibly as possible.
